I wanted to share a great experience I had at Largo (http://www.largorestoclub.com) in Quebec city. Largo is a restaurant/club that features jazz. I had the luck of stumbling upon it while staying in Quebec. The owner Gino Ste-Marie (founder of Festival de Jazz de Quebec) and his wife (singer Virginie Hamel) were consummate hosts and I enjoyed more than one visit. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere incredible and there’s live jazz.  I had the  pleasure of sitting in with Virginie Hamel et Alexandre Dumont (pianist) while there on Saturday night. I just wanted to pass on the info to everyone and to say THANKS!!! to Gino and Virginie for the excellent atmosphere, food, music and company. 

A big thanks to everyone who showed up at the CD release party - it exceeded my expectations.  Also, a huge thank you to Erin Montgomery who organized the event and who is an inspiration to everyone who knows her. Feel free to post any comments you may have about the evening on my blog.

Thanks to the people who showed up at Stayner’s last night - Thursday April 03. It was great to see the support for instrumental music. Jerry Granelli and Jamie Gatti were great as usual. They made it a great musical experience for me and I hope it was the same for you.
